Magpie & Fox is a new lifestyle and contemporary womenswear boutique for Truro.

 

The idea for Magpie & Fox was born back in the summer whilst over in France at my parents’ house in Bordeaux. The shopping is amazing in the city of Bordeaux and I always lose myself walking around the back streets that wind off Rue Sainte-Catherine, the main shopping street. Over a lunch of oysters and a cheeky glass of Picpoul with my mum (who is a die-hard shopper and a total magpie when it comes to jewellery!) we discussed how this part of France reminded us of Cornwall. We talked about how amazing it would be if some of the brands we love so much were available back home and that right there and then was my light bulb moment: I should open a boutique for Truro brimming with beautiful clothing, accessories, shoes and jewellery.
